THE HOUSE OF COMME DES GARCONS is a ballroom organization founded on the principles of fraternity, education, advocacy, and professional growth. The house encourages its members to be progressive women, men and transgendered adults. Opened in 2008, the house of Garcons has become a thriving family with a strong track record of grand prize wins in domestic and international ballroom competitions.
TWIGGY PUCCI GARCON is a NYC-based house/ballroom runway performer, the NYC Prince of the House of Comme des Garcons, and a community health specialist and program coordinator at True Colors Fund. After studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Twiggy went on to found the Opulent Haus of PUCCI, an organization whose primary function is to promote ballroom performance, personal and professional development, and targeted community service initiatives within the LGBT community. Twiggy is an award winning model, runway trainer and ballroom artist and her work in the ballroom scene has been featured in major media publications and outlets such as OUT Magazine, NY Mag, The Huffington Post, and The Advocate, among others. Twiggy was also co-writer and one of seven subjects in the Sundance-selected, award-winning documentary, KIKI.
