Loren Bruno "Silver Bells"

Loren Bruno was known in the Central New York area. He lived in Rome, NY and knew many fiddle tunes. At the time of this recording he was in his 70's or early 80's. This excerpt is part of a set of recordings that have over 80 tunes that he played for the interviewers. This recording was part of a project sponsored by the New York State Old Tyme Fiddlers Assn and funded in part by NYSCA. It was used to document the life of fiddlers throughout New York State and to record fiddle tunes for the purpose of preservation.
